This tour is considered a "gumbo tour" because it includes a little bit of everything and includes information on many ethnicities and types of people who have helped create Savannah's history. The city formerly known as Yamacraw Bluff has a rich, deep history because of all those who have made Savannah their home.

Savannah is such a vital cog in the history of the Deep South that it was, arguably, the first planned city within the original 13 colonies/states.

There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy:

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

This tour features the Historic District, which provides a fuller view of Savannah's rich history. Learn about the heroes of the American Revolution, the first steam ship to cross the Atlantic Ocean, Savannah's Civil War history, the birth of the Mighty 8th Air Force and Forsyth Park. Learn the backgrounds to the variety of peoples who share a history with Savannah, such as the Salzburgers, the Moravians, Scottish Highlanders, Native Americans, Germans, Greeks, the Spanish, Asians and Hispanics.
