Savannah General History Mini-Bus Tour
See historic sites along the Savannah River This two-hour tour provides an intriguing and thought-provoking peek into Savannah's general history. You will hear about the beauty, genius and complexity of Savannah from a local historian guide. This tour is considered a "gumbo tour" because it includes a little bit of everything and includes information on many ethnicities and types of people who have helped create Savannah's history. The city formerly known as Yamacraw Bluff has a rich, deep history because of all those who have made Savannah their home. Savannah is such a vital cog in the history of the Deep South that it was, arguably, the first planned city within the original 13 colonies/states.
