The Paula Deen Tour is all about Savannah's Queen of Southern Cuisine - a narrated history of famous Paula Deen. As you wind through Savannah's Historic District on a trolley, entertaining conductors will point out specific points of interest related to Paula, her family and her story.
Nearly two decades ago, Paula found herself battling agoraphobia, newly divorced, new to Savannah with two teenage sons and few job prospects. She started the Bag Lady, selling lunches to the downtown business crowd. By 1990, that was parlayed into a successful restaurant called Lady & Sons. Today, it's a major tourist attraction with people waiting in lines for hours just to get in.
But, courtesy of this tour, you'll have special access to Paula Deen's world famous Lady & Sons Restaurant with preferred seating (which means there is no waiting in line). Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner filled with Paula's favorites.
